Noah Volz

Noah is the newest designer at the firm, he found his way here through a recommendation from working at the Kansas City Design Center. Prior to moving to Kansas City, he spent several years working and successfully obtaining a Master’s of Architecture from Kansas State University. During his time there he focused on architecture, urban planning, and real estate development, and the way in which one impacts the others. Outside of those interest he spent time learning about technology, art appreciation, environmental studies and business studies.

One could say Noah loves architecture. This is because it is a blend of both art and science. This love for architecture started at a young age, 4th grade to be exact. His mother, who strongly inspired his love for art, encouraged him to explore more about art and architecture by attending as many classes as he could at the Nelson Atkins, Powell Gardens and various engineering summer camps. Finding inspiration for architecture can be difficult. But being in a city that you love makes it easy.

Noah has always been quite fond of Kansas City and the people of the Midwest. He makes walking or riding around in the city feel like one of those tour buses sometimes, because he is always pointing things out that no one would ever notice. This is especially fun if you can stump him, because then you get to see him try to make up a goofy story about what he thinks is happening there. On weekends he enjoys going out with friends around town or going to a movie with a mysterious character named Rebecca, his fiancee.  We are so happy to have Noah on our team he brings thoughtfulness and passion to every project and a new hairstyle each and every morning.
